5 Drums is the 5th Expert Extra stage of Super Monkey Ball 2, Super Monkey Ball Deluxe, and Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania, the 255th Ultimate stage without continues, and the 115th Marathon stage of Super Monkey Ball 2 in Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania.
Description[]
As the stage name implies, there are five drums. Drums 1-4 (numbered from closest to farthest from the starting point) spin in alternating directions and increase in size. 1 and 3 spin counterclockwise while 2 and 4 spin clockwise. 1 spins the slowest while 4 spins the fastest. Drum 5 is the largest, but it does not spin. It also contains the goal, two single bananas, and one banana bunch. A widening path leads to drum 1, and each drum is connected by a ramp that goes around the circumference. Drums 1-4 have two barriers, which are 180 degrees apart. The barriers are attached to the spinning surfaces, and they span the length of each drum to prevent you from falling off.

Main Strategy[]
Stay on the right-hand side of the path. Slowly, fall onto drum 1. The barrier should catch you. As drum 1 spins and positions you near its peak, roll quickly up the ramp, and try to make it to drum 5 without hitting the barriers. If you get stuck on drums 2, 3, or 4, wait until you are at the peak of the drum on which you are before proceeding again. Then, roll into the goal.
Alternate Strategy[]
Roll at top speed near the right-hand edge of the path. Turn left toward the corner where the path touches the drum's curved surface, and keep rolling at top speed. Keep holding up-left on the control stick. You should be able to roll past drum 1 onto drum 2. Once you are on drum 2, move straight toward the goal, and turn a little bit to the left or right as necessary to avoid the barriers.
