Banana Island, also referred to as Banana Sanctuary or simply as Master, is a world that was first seen in Super Monkey Ball. It has since also appeared in Super Monkey Ball Deluxe and in Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania.
Description[]
This world takes place in a sacred banana realm in which the sky is soft yellow. Its main feature is a circular island temple, which is held up by giant spiraling beanstalks. This temple is home to all the bananas you could ever eat. Surrounding the area, there are tall, floating fountain structures.
Stages[]
This world hosts all Master stages in Super Monkey Ball and in Banana Mania's SMB1 Master Mode, while in Super Monkey Ball Deluxe, these same stages appear as Master stages 11~20.

Difficulty Completion[]
While it is the setting of the Master stages, it also makes appearances in the difficulty completion cutscenes of Super Monkey Ball. Completing Beginner shows the monkey sitting on a big banana in front of the temple. Completing Advanced shows the monkey breaking free from the ball followed by a shower of bananas falling from the sky, and completing Expert or Master shows all four monkeys being able to enter the temple, which is full of bananas. However, completing Expert or Master by playing as GonGon will result in a different ending showing up instead. This time, he is sad and looks at the player after all bananas fall down on the floor.

- The color of the sky is soft yellow during gameplay, but during the completion cutscenes, the sky is blue instead.
- The original music used in Super Monkey Ball was not used in Banana Mania. The new song used is an original composition.
