Carpet is the 43rd Expert floor in Monkey Ball and Super Monkey Ball and the 82nd Expert stage in Super Monkey Ball Deluxe. It also appears as the 192nd Ultimate stage with continues and the 232nd without continues.
In Story Mode, it appears as World 10-5 and is given an 8 out of 10 difficulty rating.
Description[]
This floor is considered quite difficult. It features two sets of two rectangles. These rectangles are connected by line-shaped objects. There is a stationary platform between these rectangle sets. The first rectangle set makes a full revolution while the second rectangle set makes a half revolution by having one rectangle up 90 degrees and by having the other down 90 degrees. The first rectangle set has one rectangle attaching to the beginning platform and one attaching to the middle, stationary platform. The second rectangle set's rectangles rotate back and forth. The goal is located on a small, square platform adjoining the second rectangle set.
Goal Tutorial[]
To get to the goal, roll along the beginning pathway, and fall onto the first rectangle that arrives, or wait until the next rectangle arrives and roll onto it gently. If you choose the rectangle that adjoins directly to the beginning pathway, then you will have to fall onto the middle, stationary platform. Once you make it to the middle, stationary platform, roll onto one of the next rectangles gently when the one on which you want to fall is slightly below your height. Ride the rectangle you chose, and then fall down gently onto the other rectangle once the rectangle on which you are is at the top. Then, ride it, and fall into the goal once the rectangle on which you are adjoins to the goal platform.
