Cobalt Caverns - Stage 3 is the 3rd stage of the 6th world, Cobalt Caverns, in Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz (HD).
Description[]
This stage is considered hard. There are rings of decreasing size, which move along a set of tracks. The rings have grated walls next to them once two rings adjoin to aid the player in jumping from the ring on which he or she is to an adjoining ring. There are three rings altogether with the first one being green, the second one being amber, and the third one being orange. All the rings have vermilion sides. There are platforms along the way, which have bananas, red, green, and indigo-capped mushrooms, and indigo outer edges. There is a long pathway at the beginning that leads to the first ring with bumpers and red-capped mushrooms.
Goal Tutorial[]
To get to the goal, roll along and jump when necessary until you arrive at the the first ring. From here, hop onto the ring, and adjust your balance as well as possible to stay on. Wait on it until the next ring adjoins. When they adjoin, hop onto the next ring. Adjust your balance, and wait on it until the next ring adjoins. When they adjoin, hop onto the next and final ring. Adjust your balance, and wait on it until it arrives at the goal platform. Once it arrives, hop onto the goal platform and roll into the goal.
Changes in Banana Blitz HD[]
The grated walls have been removed from the stage, making jumping onto the rings more difficult. The bars on the track are a different color, now being a dark blue color rather than a violet color.
