Construction

Construction is the 9th Expert Extra stage of Super Monkey Ball 2, Super Monkey Ball Deluxe, and Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania, the 259th Ultimate stage without continues, and the 119th Marathon stage of Super Monkey Ball 2 in Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania.

Description[]

This stage features a large cylinder with a maze inside it. There are four switches at the start. Two of them can play it backwards and forwards, and the other two can play backwards fast and forwards fast. There are two blue goals. The maze is constructed with red bars, providing a maze.

Goal Tutorial[]

To get to a goal, roll into the cylinder, and turn left, and then right. Keep going up-left until you can't anymore due to red bars. From here, zigzag past a bunch of red bars, and then turn right, and then left. Then go up-right until you can't anymore because of red bars. Then, make a u-turn, and follow the path the rest of the way until you reach the goal. Be careful with time as well as at about 30:00, you will no longer be able to stay on course due to the tilt of the part of the cylinder on which the goal is.

Shortcut[]

Activate the fast-forward switch. You can fall into another part of the maze and reach the goal immediately as the cylinder tilts.

Trivia[]

In Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania, the banana count for this stage has been reduced considerably. This is unusual as most returning stages have had their banana counts increased, sometimes quite significantly.
In the PS2 version of Super Monkey Ball Deluxe, this stage lacks the moon and the colony, only showing the purple sky.
