Detritus Desert - Stage 2 is the 2nd stage of the 4th world, Detritus Desert, in Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz (HD).
Description[]
This stage features a pyramid with an automatic door inside it. There are staircases. There are bridges along the stage. There are also bumpers along the way. There is a large pyramid at the end of the stage. The pyramid has an entrance, which only Baby and YanYan can enter; there are lots of bananas inside the pyramid. The goal is located behind the large pyramid. In Banana Blitz HD, this level uses a modified speed cap of 201 kmph, instead of the default 281 kmph.
Goal Tutorial[]
To get to the goal, roll through the automatic door when it is opened. Then, roll down the upcoming staircase and across the upcoming bridges. Then, roll down the next staircase; be careful of the bumper right after this staircase. Then, roll along the rest of the pathway on which you currently are, and then roll across the next bridge. Then, make your way along the next pathway. Beware of a gap that separates this pathway from the platform next to it. Once you reach this gap, hop onto the platform next to the pathway on which you currently are, and then turn left. Hop up the next and final staircase while avoiding bumpers. Then, go around the pyramid, or go through it if you are Baby or YanYan. Once you come to the goal, roll into it.
Hidden Bananas[]
- There are ten hidden bananas on the first cactus to the left.
- There are ten hidden bananas on the tall cactus to the left after the last swinging bridge.
- There are three hidden bananas on the round cactus straight ahead after the small gap and just before the final stairs.
Changes in Banana Blitz HD[]
The first pyramid's door opens and closes on a faster cycle, matching that of the previous stage's rather than being noticeably slower.
