Doctor (ドクター Doctor) is a main character in the Super Monkey Ball series. He is characterised as confused and nervous, often showing fear when rolling around in the main games, but earns respect from the rest of the monkeys by use of his crazy inventions. Nobody, not even himself, knows his real name. Doctor is the brains of the team.
Doctor makes his debut appearance in Banana Blitz. Following an absence in Step & Roll, he re-appears in Super Monkey Ball 3D and is present in every game following including Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble.
Appearance[]
Doctor wears a lab coat with two yellow buttons and very long sleeves, along with glasses with white lenses and yellow rims. He has light brown fur, a white mustache, and a buck tooth.
As of Banana Rumble, Doctor has darker fur. He also has an opened lab coat with purple, patterned shorts, and now has black goggles. Lastly, he has a beard that is braided and held together by a purple bowtie.
Role in games[]
Doctor teams up with the five other monkeys in Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz to retrieve the eight golden bananas stolen by Captain Crabuchin. His stats are as follows:

Doctor is absent in Super Monkey Ball: Step & Roll and Super Monkey Ball: Sakura Edition. He re-appears in Super Monkey Ball 3D and Super Monkey Ball: Banana Splitz, but is only playable in party games. He is finally playable in the main game again in Banana Blitz HD and Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania.
