Entangled Path is the 34th Expert stage in Super Monkey Ball 2 and the 73rd Expert stage in Super Monkey Ball Deluxe. It also appears as the 183rd Ultimate stage with continues and the 223rd without continues.
In Story Mode, it appears as World 8-4 in Super Monkey Ball 2 and as World 8-6 in Super Monkey Ball Deluxe. It is given a 9 out of 10 difficulty rating.
Description[]
There are two switches, a play and the fast forward switch. There is a path that entangles and disentangles itself. There's a green goal that is considered very hard to reach. The blue goal is not as hard as the green goal but still considered hard to reach.
Goal Tutorial[]
Blue Goal[]
Press the fast forward switch. Wait until the path has mostly disentangled itself. Press the play switch, and run fast before the path entangles. Get into the goal immediately.
Green Goal[]
This is considered very hard. Press the fast forward switch. Wait until it starts to move. Press the play switch, and run before it starts to go straight. And land on the platform with the green goal.
Trivia[]
In Banana Mania, there is a minor visual bug that can be triggered on the Challenge Mode version of the stage. If the player's monkey ball makes contact with the edge of the path leading to the entangled path while the path is rotating and while on the rotating part of the path, the ball will roll at a moderate speed despite the player not moving.[1]
