Monkey Cannon is a Party Game seen exclusively in Super Monkey Ball Adventure. Like Monkey Tag, it includes features only unlockable from Story Mode via Paipai.
Summary[]
A brand new Super Monkey Ball challenge! Fire monkey balls at an opposing castle in order to steal bricks from them. Powerups can give you improved attacks for a more secure defense.
Basic Controls[]
- X / A - Fire your monkey at a fort.
- Joystick - Aim the cannon.
- R1 / R - Goes to a zoomed in target.
- L1 / L - Views your own fort.
Last Man Standing[]
- X / A - Use BlastBall.
- Triangle / Y - Use WreckingBall.
- Square / B - Use Rapid Fire.
- Circle / X - Use ScalarBall.
(Circle / X): Undo action.- (X / A): Add bricks to your fort.
- (Square / B): Add items to your fort.
- (Triangle / Y): Finish Fortify phase.

- Number of Rounds: The amount of rounds you will play.
- Castle Type: Choose the type of castle you will use.

Fight to be the last fort standing! There are two phases in this mode: Fight and Fortify. Collecting bricks allows you to add them to your own fort during the Fortify phase, as well as adding Defenses. Collect items with the floating balloons around the battlefield. (available to purchase from Paipai in Story Mode in Kongri-la for 150 bananas) |
Items[]
This game contains offensive and defensive power-ups. Offensive items (BlastBall, Time Warp, ScalarBall, and WreckingBall) are collected by hitting floating balloons during gameplay. Defensive items are collected by knocking down opponent castles or balloons that fall from the sky during gameplay. Once you are done choosing your defense on your castle during the fortify phase, be sure to press 
to move forward with battle.

Spikey Bricks | Defensive | Any ball hitting these bricks will become stuck for a certain period. Wiggling will help release them. |

Steel Bricks | Defensive | These reinforce your castle making it harder to destroy. |
