Floor Slant is the 16th Expert floor in Monkey Ball, Super Monkey Ball, and Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania, as well as the 25th Expert stage in Super Monkey Ball Deluxe and the 135th Ultimate stage with continues (175th without continues) and the 58th Marathon stage of Super Monkey Ball in Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania.
In Story Mode, it appears as World 7-16 and is given an 8 out of 10 difficulty rating.
Description[]
This floor is considered quite difficult. It features a large, slanted, square-shaped platform. It has a checkerboard-like pattern applied to it with square-shaped holes adjoining each other diagonally and square-shaped platforms adjoining each other diagonally. There is also a straight, narrow path with a square-shaped end that leads to the slanted platform. The goal is located at the far, upper-right corner of the platform.
Goal Tutorial[]
To get to the goal, roll along the straight path. Then, land smoothly onto the slanted platform at the very top, and then roll across as few of diagonally arranged, square-shaped platforms as possible to cross over to the other side. Be sure to angle yourself as well as possible to avoid falling through a square-shaped hole or to avoid falling off as you make your way to the goal. Once you are right by the goal, try your hardest to roll into it.
Fast Way[]
Hold up-left as soon as the floor starts, then pause between 59:20-59:28, ideally in the middle as 59:25 gives the best results. With the direction still held, change to up-right and unpause. You will land safely and bump directly into the goal.
