Fluctuation is the 6th Beginner Extra stage in Super Monkey Ball 2 (16th in Super Monkey Ball Deluxe) and the 56th Ultimate stage without continues.
In Story Mode, it appears as World 5-10 in Super Monkey Ball 2 and as World 5-17 in Super Monkey Ball Deluxe. It is given a 4 out of 10 difficulty rating.
Description[]
This stage is a large rectangle with lots of small, square holes. These holes are filled with cubes, which rise and fall in a wave-like pattern from side-to-side. Bananas float above the floor and can be reached by riding a cube to the top of its motion. The goal is at the end of the floor in between two cubes.
Goal Tutorial[]
Weave through the cubes to reach the other side. The spaces between the cubes are narrow, so exercise caution while making your way past an empty, square hole, especially if the cube on the other side is moving down. Once you reach the goal, wait for one of the cubes to rise before squeezing into the goal.
Trivia[]
- This stage is similar to Floaters, which is another stage in Super Monkey Ball 2 and Super Monkey Ball Deluxe.
- This stage differs in the amount of bananas it has between Story Mode and Challenge Mode. There are four bunches in Challenge Mode and thirteen single bananas in Story Mode.
