Gaps is the 31st Expert floor in Monkey Ball, Super Monkey Ball, and Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania, as well as the 49th Expert stage in Super Monkey Ball Deluxe and the 159th Ultimate stage with continues (199th without continues) and the 72nd Marathon stage of Super Monkey Ball in Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania.
In Story Mode, it appears as World 9-19 and is given a 7 out of 10 difficulty rating.
Description[]
This stage features four cubic platforms with gaps between them, hence the name. The platforms are separated from each other at equal distances. There is a banana on each platform. The goal is located on a platform diagonally from the starting point.
Goal Tutorial[]
To get to the goal, transition onto an adjacent, cubic platform from the one on which you are while building up as much speed as you can by moving as much away from whichever adjacent platform you choose and then by holding up as much as you can towards whichever adjacent platform you choose. Pull back your speed enough as you transition to whichever platform you chose to avoid falling out. Then, transition onto the goal platform by doing the same strategy, but you may not need to pull back your speed as you may roll directly through the goal.
