Jumpies is the 13th Advanced floor in Monkey Ball, Super Monkey Ball, and Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania, as well as the 32nd Advanced stage in Super Monkey Ball Deluxe and the 72nd Ultimate stage with continues (92nd without continues) and the 24th Marathon stage of Super Monkey Ball in Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania.
In Story Mode, it appears as World 4-14 and is given a 3 out of 10 difficulty rating.
Description[]
This stage features a platform with three metal-textured blocks. There are also three sets of two traveling beams. The blocks raise up suddenly each time they are in contact with the traveling beams. There is a tall wall in front of each of the first two blocks, and there is a ramp in front of the third and final block. There is another platform, which has the goal and is nearby the platform with the metal-textured blocks. There is a banana bunch in the air in front of the goal.
Goal Tutorial[]
To get to the goal, roll onto the first metal-textured block when it is at the same elevation as you. As soon as you are high enough to roll onto the next section of the platform after being launched, push froward immediately onto it. Then, roll onto the next, metal-textured block when it is at the same elevation as you; and as soon as you are high enough to roll onto the next and final section of the platform after being launched, push froward immediately onto it. Then, roll forward at full speed as soon as the next and final, metal-textured block has lowered down to your elevation, and aim for the goal. If you want to get the banana bunch in front of the goal, you will have to be launched by the block while going at a fast speed, which requires good timing and control. Only do this if you are sure you can do it.
Similar Stages[]
Trampolines and Jump Machine are rather similar stages in that they have mechanisms that launch the player.
Trivia[]
- In Monkey Ball and Super Monkey Ball, you will hear a quaking sound when the platforms move up. However, this was removed in Super Monkey Ball Deluxe and onwards.
