- For other "Labyrinth" stages, see Labyrinth (disambiguation).
Labyrinth is the 25th Advanced floor in Monkey Ball, Super Monkey Ball, and Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania, as well as the 54th Advanced stage in Super Monkey Ball Deluxe and the 94th Ultimate stage with continues (114th without continues) and the 36th Marathon stage of Super Monkey Ball in Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania.
In Story Mode, it appears as World 5-18 and is given a 5 out of 10 difficulty rating.
Description[]
This stage features a pathway with lots of turns. There are bumpers, slopes, holes, pyramid-like obstacles, mini slopes, and sliding mechanisms along the way. There are also some guard rails. There is another pathway at the end, leading to five paths of varying widths and lengths. These paths lead to a second goal, a green goal. The narrower a path is, the shorter it is. The paths are 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.5, and 1.0 in width. There are bumps in front of the green goal.
Goal Tutorial[]
Blue Goal[]
To get to this goal, roll along the way until you come to the sliding mechanisms. Once you have made it to the sliding mechanisms, weave around them as carefully as you can, and move at a moderate speed. The mechanisms slide in the direction the control stick is tilted. Once you have made it past the mechanisms, gain as much speed as you can to make it up the set of slopes. Then, roll along the slope leading to the blue goal at a moderate speed, and jump into the blue goal; use your best judgement for jumping into the blue goal.
Green Goal[]
To get to this goal, repeat the same strategy as for the blue goal, but then proceed past the blue goal onto another pathway. Roll along it until you come to paths of varying widths and lengths. Roll across the path with which you are most comfortable. Then, roll along the bumps in front of the green goal, and then roll into the green goal.
Shortcut[]
Roll forwards in a curved line to avoid the bumpers, and aim for the opposite end of the square-shaped hole that's ahead of you. Running into the opposite edge of the square-shaped hole lets you bounce over the guardrail and land right into the green goal. This will likely take practice.
Trivia[]
- Labyrinth from Super Monkey Ball 2 was renamed "Crazy Maze" in Super Monkey Ball Deluxe, so this stage could be named "Labyrinth."
