Mad Rings is the 16th Advanced stage in Super Monkey Ball 2 and the 45th Advanced stage in Super Monkey Ball Deluxe. It also appears as the 85th Ultimate stage with continues and the 105th without continues.
In Story Mode, it appears as World 3-6 in Super Monkey Ball 2 and as World 3-10 in Super Monkey Ball Deluxe. It is given a 3 out of 10 difficulty rating.
Description[]
The layout is somewhat linear as there are only paths facing straight from the starting point. There are some rotating rings on the way, which can hit you out of the field. There are three Goals, a blue goal, a green goal, and a red goal. The rings revolve around the platforms holding the goals. The rings get faster the closer they are to the red goal.
Goal Tutorial[]
Blue Goal[]
This goal is considered easy to obtain as the ring moves slowly. Start rolling right away, but make sure not to roll too fast because, otherwise, you might get knocked off the stage.
Green Goal[]
This goal is considered a bit hard to obtain. Roll immediately to the side and past the blue goal, and move at a moderate speed to reach the green goal. This ring moves a bit faster than the first one, so be careful. There are a lot of bananas here.
Red Goal[]
This goal is on the farthest platform of the level, surrounded by the fastest spinning ring, and has many bunches of bananas to collect if you are successful. It is considered difficult. Roll immediately along one of the sides until you reach the red goal platform at a fairly fast speed, and you should make it to the red goal.
Trivia[]
- Unlike with most stages, the banana count in this stage was reduced in Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania, rather than being increased.
