Mid-Sky is the bonus world of Super Monkey Ball 2, and one of two bonus worlds (alongside Starry Night) in Super Monkey Ball Deluxe and Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania. The soundtrack for this world has been remixed in Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania.
Description[]
This world has floating marble goblets covered with leaves and flowers throughout the sky, and containing fish in them. There are clouds below. The setting switches between day and night; the sun and moon bump each other out of the sky, alternating the sky's color in the area. During the day, there are clouds in the sky, and at night, silver stars hang from the sky. The pink flowers open during the day, and close at night, while the fish swim around during the day and stay still at night. The gray clouds appear at night when the moon bumps the sun.
In Banana Mania, the sun and moon no longer bump each other out of the sky. Instead, they gently move out of the way to take turns. The clouds appear in both day and night. The gray clouds are absent. The clouds can be seen on top and bottom, and the moon is green.
Challenge Mode[]
Bonus stages do not appear in Story Mode, only in Challenge Mode.
In Super Monkey Ball 2 and Banana Mania, this world hosts Beginner stage 5, Advanced stages 5, 10 and 20, as well as Expert stages 5, 10, 20, 30 and 40. In Super Monkey Ball Deluxe, it hosts Beginner stages 20 and 30, Advanced stages 30, 40, 50 and 60, as well as Expert stages 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80 and 90.

This world is available as an arena in Monkey Dogfight, called Mid-Sky Battle. The altimeter limit is 1,000 feet. The digital void is a layer of clouds which are not lethal to players who touch this barrier in the arena.
