Monkey Island is the 1st world in Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz (HD). This version of Monkey Island also appears as the 1st world in Super Monkey Ball (iOS).
Description[]
The world takes place high above an open, tropical ocean. An island archipelago is widely scattered across this ocean. The stages are placed right next to one of these islands, which has a dormant volcano on it. The stages are decorated with vibrant palm trees, tall rocks, wooden fences, and stone arches.

In Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz (HD), there are eight regular stages, one bonus stage and the boss battle against Tori. Completing this world grants you access to Jumble Jungle.
In Super Monkey Ball (iOS), the stages come in two sets of ten stages each, with one hidden stage (which functions as an Extra stage) in each set. Completion of this world will give you access to Smooth Sherbet.

- The original music used in Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz was not used in Banana Blitz HD. The new song used is a new composition.
- The music for Monkey Island replaces the Pirates Ocean music in Super Monkey Ball 2: Sakura Edition, and is reused in Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing.
