Monkey Island (some may call it Dino Island) is the sole world of the Beginner difficulty level, and the 1st world overall, in Super Monkey Ball: Banana Splitz.

Description

This world takes place during the age of the dinosaurs, except everything is made out of plastic and paper, including the dinosaurs themselves; they are wind-up toys. The environment consists of a vortex of water flowing inwards, as well as some islands and volcanoes in the distance. A Pterodactyl can be seen flying in circles up in the sky.

The stages are placed high above the center of the water vortex. A Tyrannosaurus Rex sometimes bends over the stages.

All the stages in this world are remakes of stages from past games, to commemorate the series' 10th anniversary. Notably, 6 out of the 10 stages come from Monkey Ball, the first game in the series.
