Obstacle is the 23rd Expert stage in Super Monkey Ball 2 and the 52nd Expert stage in Super Monkey Ball Deluxe. It also appears as the 162nd Ultimate stage with continues and the 202nd without continues.
In Story Mode, it appears as World 7-3 in Super Monkey Ball 2 and as World 7-4 in Super Monkey Ball Deluxe. It is given a 7 out of 10 difficulty rating.
Description[]
A narrow path leads to an area with two pillars and a suspending glass plane in between them. Each pillar has a pyramidal base and a plank-shaped platform on top. There are two plank-shaped elevators; the one on the left goes all the way up to the top of the left pillar while the one on the right only goes a quarter of the way up. The goal juts out of the right pillar just above the base. Two single bananas are located on the plank above the left pillar.
Goal Tutorial[]
Wait and roll onto the left elevator when it comes to the bottom of the floor. When it is about halfway up, roll off of it. Land on the pyramidal base, and roll into the goal. If you need more momentum, wait until the plank has reached the up and carefully, but quickly, roll off. Land on the pyramidal base, and roll into the goal. Be sure not to run into the glass plane above. If you have enough speed, you should be able to bounce off the right pillar's base and into the goal.
