Plain is the first Beginner floor in Monkey Ball, Super Monkey Ball, Super Monkey Ball Deluxe, and Super Monkey Ball: Banana Splitz. It also appears as the first stage of Ultimate mode, of course, with or without continues.
Plain is a rectangular shaped floor surrounded by tall rails. The start is on one end and the Goal is on the other. There are four bananas on each sides of the goal. In Banana Splitz, an extra banana is added in front of the goal. Your monkey starts on the farther side of the goal, which allows him or her easily to roll straight into it.
Since this floor is basically a tutorial stage for first-time players, it is set up, so the player can get a feel of the controls and mechanics. To complete this stage, simply go straight; you can collect the bananas if you want to increase your banana count or score.
- This stage does not appear in Story Mode in Super Monkey Ball Deluxe, but its Advanced and Expert counterparts do.
