Spiral Hard is the 28th Expert floor in Monkey Ball and Super Monkey Ball and the 47th Expert stage in Super Monkey Ball Deluxe. It also appears as the 157th Ultimate stage with continues and the 197th without continues.
In Story Mode, it appears as World 8-18 and is given a 7 out of 10 difficulty rating.
Description[]
This floor is just like Spiral, but it is narrower and harder. There is also no barrier behind the goal, which is seen in Spiral.
Goal Tutorial[]
Go across the long, narrow path to get started at the top of the spiral. Roll fast onto the spiral, but not too fast, so you will not fall off the floor. Keep a moderately fast speed to stay on the spiral. Repeat this pattern until you make it to the goal. Once you are at the end, hold up-left on the control stick a lot to roll into the goal because, otherwise, you will likely not have enough speed to make it into it.
Shortcut[]
While hard to pull off, a skip can be performed by getting a running start on the path and flying off to the left to land in the goal below. This strategy requires speed, precise timing and good aim.
