Strata

Strata is the 2nd Expert Extra stage of Super Monkey Ball 2, Super Monkey Ball Deluxe, and Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania, the 252nd Ultimate stage without continues, and the 112th Marathon stage of Super Monkey Ball 2 in Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania.

Description[]

This stage features a layered set of platforms, hence the name, that are narrow and hilly. They decrease in width from top to bottom. There is a curved, sloped path that leads to the layered platforms. There is a blue goal on the second-to-lowest platform and a green goal on the lowest platform.

Goal Tutorial[]

Blue Goal[]

To get to this goal, roll along the curved, sloped, path until you make it to the top-most platform. Roll along the platform, and gently roll off onto the platform right below you. Turn around, and repeat the strategy for the next platform right below you. Repeat this process until you reach the blue goal.

Green Goal[]

This goal is considered really hard to reach. To get to it, First, repeat the same process as for the blue goal. Then, as soon as you drop down to the blue goal platform, fall down again onto the platform right below you. Turn around very carefully, and move as straight as possible and with just enough speed to make it over the hills until you reach the green goal. Be extremely careful while you make your way to this goal since the width of this platform is really narrow, making it where you can fall off very easily.

Shortcut[]

There is a shortcut to get to the goals. When you roll along the curved path leading to the highest platform, fall off to the right a few feet before the beginning of the highest platform, and aim into either goal.
