Tori is the boss of the 1st world, Monkey Island, in Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz (HD).

Description

Tori is a giant vulture. He stands on the center of a circular platform. He will peck at the ground or flap his wings at the player. If he pecks his head into the ground, his beak will get stuck in it. He will will get tired after he has blown wind at the player. It takes four hits to defeat him.

Boss Battle Tutorial

In order to defeat him, you must hit the bulge on his head when he pecks the ground or when he's tired of blowing wind at you from flapping his wings. Repeat this prcoess until he is defeated. Be sure to avoid his beak when is pecking it into the ground. And be sure not to jump when he blows wind at you as you will likely fall out if you do.

Changes in Banana Blitz HD

In the original version, the boss has two different attacks: flapping his wings to push you backwards, after which he becomes tired and lowers his head and pecking the ground several times, sometimes having his beak get stuck to the ground. Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD adds to the peck attack as the boss is now able to peck twice in quick succession, as well as pecking once and resetting.
