Tracks is the 9th Expert floor in Monkey Ball, Super Monkey Ball, and Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania, as well as the 8th Expert stage in Super Monkey Ball Deluxe and the 118th Ultimate stage with continues (158th without continues) and the 52nd Marathon stage of Super Monkey Ball in Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania.
In Story Mode, it appears as World 7-5 and is given a 7 out of 10 difficulty rating.
Description[]
This stage is similar to Choice, but its paths are narrower, longer, and loops in on itself. It is considered difficult. It features five paths ranging from 0.5 to 0.1 in width. The narrower a path is, the shorter it is, and the more bananas there are. For reference, a path with a width of 1.0 is exactly as wide as the monkey ball. The 0.5 path is aqua, the 0.4 path spring green, the 0.3 path chartreuse, the 0.2 path yellow, and the 0.1 path orange. All the paths are reflective.
Goal Tutorial[]
To get to the goal, roll along the 0.5 path path unless you are confident about rolling along a narrower path so that you can get more bananas and possibly get there faster as the narrower a path is, the shorter it is. Take your time as much as you can as even the 0.5 path requires a lot of precision. Once you have made it past whatever path you chose, roll into the goal.
Changes in Banana Mania[]
The tracks are slightly wider. All of the tracks are now purple with amber edges instead of varying colors and are not numerically rated, using different numbers of bananas to represent how difficult and rewarding they are instead.
Trivia[]
- This stage contains two double bananas. Two of the banana bunches on the 0.1 width track are actually two banana bunches in the exact same spot. Collecting them awards twenty bananas each and plays the banana bunch collection sound twice as loudly. These double bananas have been removed in Banana Mania and are now regular banana bunches.
