Twin Basin is the 49th Expert stage in Super Monkey Ball 2 and Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania, as well as the 98th Expert stage in Super Monkey Ball Deluxe and the 208th Ultimate stage with continues (248th without continues) and the 109th Marathon stage of Super Monkey Ball 2 in Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania.
In Story Mode, it appears as World 9-9 in Super Monkey Ball 2 and as World 9-15 in Super Monkey Ball Deluxe. It is given a 6 out of 10 difficulty rating.
Description[]
This stage features three platforms, which are equally spaced apart. The first is the starting point. The middle acts as a landing platform, and the last has the goal. In between the platforms are halfpipe bridges in the shape of zeroes. The sides of these halfpipes are steep and require a lot of force to make it up. The only reason this level is considered pretty hard is because of the fact that, since the player must exit via the thin edge of the zero shapes, it is hard to pick up enough speed to make it up the sides once.
Goal Tutorial[]
To get to the goal, roll around the first half pipe either to the left or right. Go really fast and angle yourself well to get up on the adjoining platform. Repeat the same pattern for the next part, but you will have to angle yourself much more precisely this time because goal platform is much narrower than the previous platform. Once you are on the goal platform, then roll into the goal.
