Twister is the 35th Expert floor in Monkey Ball and Super Monkey Ball and the 64th Expert stage in Super Monkey Ball Deluxe. It also appears as the 174th Ultimate stage with continues and the 214th without continues. In Super Monkey Ball Deluxe's Challenge Mode, it erroneously has its name swapped with Twist & Spin.
In Story Mode, it appears as World 9-10 and is given a 6 out of 10 difficulty rating.
Description[]
This stage features a large, soft serve-like structure. This structure rotates counterclockwise. Bananas are on the structure. There is a rectangular platform on which the player starts and a smaller rectangular platform on which the goal is.
Goal Tutorial[]
To get to the goal, get onto the soft serve-like structure gently. Then, keep a slightly slow consistent speed the whole time until you reach the other side. Then, get onto the goal platform and into the goal.
Fast Strategy[]
Hold up on your control stick as soon as the level starts. Then, at the moment you land on the soft serve-like structure, change your direction to Up+Left as soon as you jump over the first uphill slant. Change your direction to Up+Right, and adjust your momentum accordingly to maintain balance.
Trivia[]
- There is a banana under the starting platform in the center of the soft serve-like structure that cannot be collected. If you fall off near end of the starting platform, a well-timed pause or replay will make it easier to see it.
- The Super Monkey Ball 2 stage Soft Cream looks rather similar to this stage.
