Wormhole is the 1st Expert stage in Super Monkey Ball 2 and the 11th Expert stage in Super Monkey Ball Deluxe. It also appears as the 121st Ultimate stage with continues and the 161st without continues.
In Story Mode, it appears as World 5-1 in both Super Monkey Ball 2 and Super Monkey Ball Deluxe and is given a 3 out of 10 difficulty rating.
Description[]
The floor is divided into two stories. The first story is a flat platform with a wormhole on the edge across from the starting platform. The second story is made up of four rectangles connected by paths. There is no path between the rectangle with the wormhole and the rectangle with the goal. The path between the upper-left rectangle and the wormhole rectangle is twelve squares wide. The path between the two empty rectangles is four squares wide, and the path between the upper-right rectangle and goal rectangle is two squares wide.
Goal Tutorial[]
To get to the goal, roll forward until you reach the wormhole at the end. After you are teleported, cross the first path, turn right, and continue. Turn right again and continue forward to the goal. Be careful not to fall off, as the time limit generally allows for no more than three tries.
Trivia[]
- This is the first stage in the Super Monkey Ball series to feature wormholes.
- It is possible to collect the banana bunch behind the first wormhole by traveling through it with sufficient speed.
- With exact speed and movement, it is possible to bounce onto the platform with the goal by hitting a right-angled corner of the floor (often called 'clipping'). This is often used by speedrunners.
